Student attendance for academies and classes — free, in one tap

E:DA records student attendance automatically, deducts passes, and sends absence notices. If you don't need billing or parent notifications, a small class or studio doesn't need heavyweight academy software.

Sound familiar?

  • Recording attendance twice — on paper and in a spreadsheet
  • Counting remaining class passes by hand
  • Texting absence notices one by one

How E:DA changes it

QR · self · proxy check-in

When class starts, students check themselves in or scan a QR code. Instructors can check them in on their behalf too.

Passes deducted automatically

A pass is deducted on booking or check-in and restored automatically on cancellation or refund. Students get a heads-up when they're running low.

Attendance dashboard · automatic reminders

See each student's attendance rate and trend at a glance. Pre-class reminders and absence notices go out automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Do students have to install the app?

No. Everything works on the web (eda.fivehours.co) too — just sign in with a Google or Apple account.

How do I issue passes?

Organizers issue passes per member; they're deducted automatically on booking or check-in, and students are notified when they're running low.

Does it handle parent drop-off alerts or tuition billing?

No. E:DA focuses on student attendance and passes. If you need billing, parent notifications, or shuttle management, a full academy management system fits better; for a small class or studio, E:DA is much lighter.

Is it really free?

Yes. Creating a group and the core features — check-in, passes — are free to start.
